Minsk celebrated City Day
Minsk celebrates its birthday every year on the second Saturday of September. This year the festive events were especially significant because on September 13, the capital of our native Belarus turned 958!
Minsk, a hero city with a rich history and a wonderful future is always glad to welcome its residents and guests. On this day there is a festive atmosphere everywhere, music is played and folk festivals are held. Minsk demonstrates its beauty and hospitality inviting everyone to share the joy of this special day.
Representatives of Belhydromet, led by Deputy Head Alexander Trusov, took part in a flower–laying ceremony at the stele "Minsk is a hero city", paying tribute to the memory of the heroic deed of the city during the Great Patriotic War.
Belhydromet congratulates all residents and guests of the capital on the City Day! We wish Minsk continued prosperity, sustainable development and well-being! May there always be peaceful sky and favorable weather over our beloved city!
