BELHYDROMET

Today, June 19, representatives of Belhydromet visited the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition "National Security. Belarus-2026," which is being held at the Minsk International Exhibition Center at 24, P.Medyolki Street. The event, organized by the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, and the Republican Unitary Enterprise "National Exhibition Center BelExpo," brought together leading experts and representatives of government agencies whose activities are aimed at ensuring the country's national security.

The "National Security. Belarus-2026" exhibition is a comprehensive congress and exhibition program designed to create an effective communication platform. It serves as a venue for discussing innovative ideas and exchanging information on industrial and technological advancements in the field of special equipment, hardware, and armaments. Special emphasis is placed on showcasing high-tech developments and ready-made solutions that contribute to improving the technical capabilities of law enforcement agencies and other security forces.

The exhibition's exposition covers a wide range of areas, including:

- equipping law enforcement agencies with special technical means, including police equipment;
- information and digital security technologies for the state;
- anti-terrorist protection systems and the "Safe City" concept;
- border security technical means;
- equipment and technologies for preventing and mitigating the consequences of emergencies, including disaster medical support;
- as well as means for ensuring industrial and environmental safety.

For Belhydromet, as an organization whose activities are closely linked to environmental monitoring and forecasting hazardous hydrometeorological phenomena, visiting such an exhibition holds particular significance. Exploring advanced developments in technologies used for disaster prevention and response, as well as environmental safety systems, directly aligns with the objectives facing the hydrometeorological service.

The main goals of the exhibition are the large-scale demonstration of innovative solutions in the security sector, facilitating the technical re-equipment of structures responsible for national security, and strengthening cooperative ties between Belarusian and foreign enterprises.

The visit to the exhibition allowed Belhydromet's specialists to familiarize themselves with the latest developments, assess their potential for application in their field of activity, and outline pathways for further development.
