Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from 24 to 31 of January, 2024)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from January 24 to January 31, 2024.
In the air of Mogilev in the area of Pervomaiskaya Street,10 on January 24, 2024 at 13:00 the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.3 MPC (a southerly wind with a speed of 3 m/s was observed, the air temperature was -2.1°C, relative humidity was 88%), the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.4 times (south and south-west winds were observed with a speed of 2-4 m/s, haze, rain, snow, air temperature ranged from +0.9°C to +2.2°C, relative humidity – from 82% to 98%).
In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya street,12 on January 31, 2024 the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size was 1.04 MPC (south-westerly wind with an average speed of 1 m/s was observed, gusts up to 5 m/s, air temperature ranged from -2.9°C to +4.5°C, relative humidity – from 66% to 92%).
