Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from April, 18-24, 2024)
The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from April 18 to 24, 2024.
In the air of Gomel in the area of Barykina street,319 on April 23, 2024, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions of the size up to 10 microns was 1.33 MPC (there was a wind in the western quarter with an average speed of 1 m/s, gusts up to 6 m/s, haze, rain, air temperature ranged from +5.1°C to +11.2°C, relative humidity – from 53% to 96%), on April 24, 2024 – 1.02 MPC (calm, easterly, southeasterly winds with an average speed of 6 m/s, gusts up to 14 m/s, heavy rain, air temperature ranged from +5.6°C to +12.4°C, relative humidity – from 63% to 98%) were observed.
