Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from March, 27 to April, 3, 2024)

In the air of Brest in the area of Severnaya street, 75, on March 30, 2024 the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size (hereinafter – PM10) was 1.24 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1-3 m/s was observed, air temperature ranged from +8.8°C to +22.6°C, relative humidity – from 38% to 71 %), on March 31, 2024 – 2.13 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 2-5 m/s was observed, air temperature ranged from +14.6°C to +24.0°C, relative humidity – from 23% to 54%), on April 1, 2024 – 3.48 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 2-3 m/s, air temperature ranged from +14.5°C to +23.4°C, relative humidity – from 35% to 49%), on April 2, 2024 – 2.3 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1-5 m/s, heavy rain was observed, air temperature ranged from +8.9°C to +19.6°C, relative humidity – from 42% to 90%).

In the air of Vitebsk in the area of General Lyudnikov Avenue on March 29, 2024, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.1 MPC (south, south-west, west wind with a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts up to 12 m/s, rain, drizzle, air temperature ranged from +7.1°C to +12.2°C, relative humidity – from 61% to 97%), in the area of Chkalov street, 14 on March 31, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.29 MPC (calm was observed, wind in the southern quarter at a speed of 1-3 m/s, gusts up to 12 m/s, air temperature ranged from +4.6°C to +23.1°C, relative humidity – from 39% to 93%), on April 1, 2024 – 1.48 MPC (wind of the southern quarter was observed at a speed of 1-5 m/s, gusts up to 10 m/s, air temperature ranged from +13.7°C to +23.5°C, relative humidity – from 31% to 72%), on April 2, 2024 – 2.16 MPC (southerly, southeasterly wind with a speed of 1-4 m/s was observed, gusts up to 8 m/s, air temperature ranged from +12.6°C to +24.5°C, relative humidity – from 39% to 68%).

In the area of the background monitoring station in the Berezinsky Reserve (Lepelsky district, Domzheritsky village, 1) on March 31, 2024, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.57 MPC (there was mainly a south-easterly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 11 m/s, air temperature ranged from +3.9°C to +22.5°C, relative humidity – from 39% to 99%), on April 1, 2024 – 1.38 MPC (there was mainly a southwesterly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 10 m/s, air temperature ranged from +11.4°C to +22.6°C, relative humidity – from 34% to 80%), on April 2, 2024 – 2.42 MPC (there was a northwesterly wind with an average speed of 3 m/s, the air temperature ranged from +6.5°C to +23.8°C, relative humidity – from 38% to 69%).

In the air of Novopolotsk in the area of the administrative building on Molodezhnaya Street, 49/1 on March 31, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.17 MPC (calm, east, south-south-east, south-east wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s, haze, air temperature ranged from +4.8°C to +21.1°C, relative humidity – from 47% to 98%), on April 1, 2024 – 2.47 MPC (south, south-south-west, south-west wind with a speed of 1-3 m/s was observed, air temperature ranged from +13.1°C to +21.6°C, relative humidity – from 38% to 74%), on April 2, 2024 – 2.73 MPC (east, east-northeast, east-southeast winds with a speed of 1-3 m/s were observed, the air temperature ranged from +10.2°C to +21.6°C, relative humidity – from 47% to 82%).

In the air of Gomel in the area of Barykina street, 319 on March 28, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM10 was 2.79 MPC (there was an easterly, southeasterly wind with an average speed of 6 m/s, gusts up to 12 m/s, air temperature ranged from +1.6°C to +12.1°C, relative humidity – from 54% to 95%), on March 29, 2024 – 1.48 MPC (there was a south-southwesterly wind with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 10 m/s, haze, rain, air temperature ranged from +7.6°C to +13.5°C, relative humidity – from 52% to 91%), on March 31, 2024 – 2.57 MPC (south-southeasterly wind with an average speed of 3 m/s was observed, gusts up to 8 m/s, air temperature ranged from +8.7°C to +23.6°C, relative humidity – from 32% to 83%), on April 1, 2024 – 3.28 MPC (there was a southerly, southeasterly wind with an average speed of 4 m/s, gusts up to 11 m/s, air temperature ranged from +12.8°C to +23.5°C, relative humidity – from 44% to 66%).

In the air of Zhlobin in the area of Prigorodnaya street, 12 on March 28, 2024, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 2.5 microns in size (hereinafter – PM2.5) was 1.90 MPC (south-easterly wind prevailed with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 12 m/s, air temperature ranged from +1.6°C to +13.1°C, relative humidity – from 50 % to 94%), on March 30, 2024 – 1.38 MPC (southwesterly wind prevailed with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 10 m/s, air temperature ranged from +3.3°C to +21.4°C, relative humidity – from 41% to 96%), on March 31, 2024 average daily concentration of PM2.5 was 3.28 MPC, PM10 – 2.29 MPC (south wind prevailed with an average speed of 2 m/s, gusts up to 9 m/s, air temperature ranged from +8.8°C to +25.1°C, relative humidity – from 35% to 83%), on April 1, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM2.5 was 3.77 MPC, PM10 – 2.93 MPC (south wind prevailed with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 11 m/s, air temperature ranged from +12.8°C to +25.7°C, relative humidity – from 32% to 73%), maximum the single concentration of solid particles (undifferentiated dust/aerosol) at 19:00 was 1.1 MPC (calm was observed, the air temperature was +21.0° C, relative humidity – 38%), on April 2, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM2.5 was 5.34 MPC, PM10 – 3.67 MPC (there was a south-southeasterly wind with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 11 m/s, precipitation in the evening, air temperature ranged from +12.4°C to +26.6°C, relative humidity – from 29% to 69%), the maximum single concentration of solid particles (undifferentiated dust/aerosol) at 13:00 it was 1.3 MPC, in the area of microdistricton the 3rd district (Zhlobin branch "Protection") - 1.1 MPC (there was a south-easterly wind with a speed of 3 m/s, the air temperature was +24.0°C, relative humidity – 40%).

In the air of the villagt Penki (Mozyr district) on April 1, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.56 MPC (a southerly, southwesterly wind with a speed of 4-13 m/s was observed, the air temperature ranged from +12.0°C to +24.7°C, relative humidity – from 29% to 73%), on  April 2, 2024 – there was 1.43 MPC (south, south-westerly winds with a speed of 1-18 m/s were observed, the air temperature ranged from +9.8°C to +26.2°C, relative humidity – from 29% to 92%).

In the air of Mogilev in the area of Pervomaiskaya Street, 10 on March 27, 2024, the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.4 times (calm was observed, southern, south-easterly wind with a speed of 4 m/s, air temperature ranged from +1.5°C to +11.8°C, relative humidity – from 37% to 88%), in the area of Pervomaiskaya Street, 10 on March 30, 2024 at 07:00 the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.2 MPC (there was calm, the air temperature was +3.2°C, the relative humidity was 93%). In the specified area on March 30, 2024 the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard by 1.3 times (calm was observed, south, south-east, south-west, west wind with a speed of 1-4 m/s, air temperature ranged from +3.2°C to +19.2°C, relative humidity – from 46% to 93%). In the area of the Krupskaya alley, 5 on March 31, 2024, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 2.50 MPC, in the area of Schmidt Avenue, 19 - 1.28 MPC, in the area of Movchansky street, 4 – 1.44 MPC (calm was observed, east, south-east, south wind with a speed of 1-4 m/s, air temperature ranged from +6.1°C to +24.0°C, relative humidity – from 31% to 94%), in the area of Krupskaya alley, 5 on April 1, 2024, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 2.96 MPC, in the area of Movchansky, street, 4 – 1.10 MPC (the wind of the southern quarter was observed at a speed of 1-4 m/s, the air temperature ranged from +12.8°C to +23.9°C, relative humidity – from 33% to 74%), in the area of Pervomaiskaya Street, 10 the average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the MPC standard was 1.1 times, along Kashtanova street, 5 – 1.02 times (the wind of the southern quarter was observed at a speed of 1-4 m/s, the air temperature ranged from +12.8° C to +23.9°C, relative humidity – from 33% to 74%). In the area of Krupskaya alley, 5 on April 2, 2024 the average daily concentration of PM10 was 4.81 MPC, in the area of Movchansky street, 4 – 2.04 MPC (a southerly, southeasterly wind with a speed of 1-5 m/s was observed, the air temperature ranged from +13.1°C to +25°C, relative humidity – from 32% to 76%).

In the air of Minsk in the Uruchye microdistrict on March 31, 2024, the average daily concentration of PM2.5 was 2.78 MPC (south wind prevailed with an average speed of 3 m/s, gusts up to 9 m/s, air temperature ranged from +4.2°C up to +24.6°C, relative humidity – from 35% to 100%), on April 1, 2024 – 2.02 MPC (south wind prevailed at a speed of 1-5 m/s, air temperature ranged from +10.8°C to +23.5°C, relative humidity – from 33% to 86%), on April 2, 2024 – 2.2 MPC (there was a southerly, northwesterly wind with an average speed of 2 m/s, a thunderstorm, heavy rain, air temperature ranged from +8.°C to +26.8°C, relative humidity – from 32% to 90%).
