Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (from September 4 to September 10, 2025)

The state institution "Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring" informs about the exceedances of the MPC standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from September 4 to September 10, 2025.
In the air of Brest in the area of St. 75 Severnaya Street on September 4, 2025, there were exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration for ground-level ozone, established for a 1-hour period: the concentration of ground–level ozone from 13:00 to 14:00 was 1.04 MPC, 14:00 to 15:00 was 1.30 MPC, from 15:00 to 16:00 – 1.28 MPC, from 16:00 to 17:00 – 1.27 MPC, from 17:00 to 18:00 – 1.30 MPC, from 18:00 to 19:00 – 1.30 MPC, from 19:00 to 20:00 – 1.20 MPC, from 20:00 to 21:00 – 1.08 MPC, from 21:00 to 22:00 – 1.07 MPC, from 22:00 to 23:00 – 1.10 MPC, from 23:00 to 24:00 – 1.12 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1 m/s was observed, the air temperature ranged from +19.1°C to +25.1°C, relative humidity – from 67% to 91%), exceeding the maximum permissible concentration limit for surface ozone, set for an 8-hour period, was recorded: surface ozone concentration from 08:00 to 16:00 hours was 1.13 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1 m/s was observed, air temperature ranged from +16.2°C to +25.1°C, relative humidity – from 67% to 96%), from 16:00 hours until 24:00. – 1.57 MPC (winds of variable directions with a speed of 1 m/s were observed, the air temperature ranged from +19.1°C to +25.1°C, relative humidity – from 67% to 91%), the average daily concentration of surface ozone was. 1.46 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1 m/s was observed, weather conditions: clear, cloudy, air temperature ranged from +16.2°C to +25.1°C, relative humidity – from 67% to 96%), on September 5, 2025, the maximum permissible concentration for surface ozone was exceeded, set for a 1-hour period: ground-level ozone concentration from 00:00 a.m. to 01:00 a.m. it was 1.03 MPC (an easterly wind with a speed of 1 m/s was observed, the air temperature was +19.1°C, relative humidity was 91%), the average daily concentration of ground–level ozone was 1.10 MPC, the average daily concentration of PM10 was 1.15 MPC (winds of variable directions with a speed of 1-2 m/s were observed, the air temperature ranged from +15.9°C to +29.5 °C, relative humidity – from 45% to 95%), оn September 6, 2025, the average daily concentration of ground–level ozone was 1.03 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1-2 m/s was observed, rain, air temperature ranged from +18.3°C to +29.6°C, relative humidity – from 41% to 84%), on September 7, 2025 - 1.28 MPC (winds of variable directions with a speed of 1-3 m/s, haze, drizzle, air temperature ranged from +18.4°C to +26.8°C, relative humidity – from 48% to 95%) were observed, on September 7, 2025, exceeding the maximum permissible concentration limit for ground-level ozone was recorded. An 8-hour period: the concentration of ground-level ozone from 08:00 to 16:00 hours was 1.03 MPC (wind of variable directions with a speed of 1-2 m/s, haze, drizzle, air temperature ranged from +18.5°C to +26.0°C, relative humidity – from 48% to 95%).
