Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on July 25 to August 1, 2024
According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains unchanged from July 25 to August 1, 2024.
The dose rate levels of gamma radiation in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk and Grodno are 0.10 µSv/hour (10 µR/hour), in Gomel – 0.11 µSv/hour (11 µR/hour), in Mogilev – 0.12 µSv/hour (12 µR/hour), which corresponds to established long-term values.
Higher levels of gamma radiation dose rate are maintained at permanent control points located in areas of increased radioactive contamination: Bragin – 0.55 µSv/hour (55 µR/hour), Slavgorod – 0.18 µSv/hour (18 µR/hour).
